Nivea – Aqua Sensation Anti-Shadow Eye Creme

AQUA SENSATION ANTI-SHADOW EYE CREME

Thinner than any other part of your facial skin, the delicate eye area is particularly vulnerable to stress, fatigue and late nights, which lead to under-eye shadows and puffiness.

This product is said to instantly invigorates the eye area with the cooling sensation of pure moisture, reducing dark circles and puffiness for a refreshed, radiant eye contour.

My review on this product

Texture or feel of this cream -

Its cream base. And it smells good. A little on the oily side but still smooth and light, does not leave greasy feeling on your eye area after applying…But….by the end of the day, I noticed that it gets really wet or oily around the eye area, like as though its OVER-Moisturising for my eyes. You’ll probably have to wait abit for it to dry up or fully absorbed into your skin before applying any eye make up over it.

Inconvenience -

Up to the extend where I had to repeatedly wiped the moisture away, and still it’ll leave residues behind. I find myself constantly having to check the mirror to see if there are mucus-like residues on my eyes by the end of the day. The area around my eyes can get pretty watery.

Does it work?

The purpose of this cream is to 1) reduce dark shadow, 2) puffiness, 3) Invigorate and leave a cooling sensation 4) Moisturise and help to brighten up the eye area. I have to say, it did what it was said to do.

Out of so many eye product I have been using so far, this is the only product so far, that is able to do what it is claimed to do and results and differences were seen almost immediately.

The dark circles or shadows around my eye area, subsided and puffiness also reduced. Even when I looked tired and burnt out after long late nights of studying for my exams then, I’d feel fresh after applying this cream, because it has cooling effects. And I do noticed my eyes looking more radiant and brighter than before. I’d also use it as an eye make-up remover too, because it does help to clean away the make up and leaves it feeling fresh and clean, though can get quite oily.

It comes in a mini tub that can last you for quite a bit, and I actually finished using it, however I realised the oilyness it was causing me and because it can become quite uncomfortable because my eyes would become so oily, my visions can get quite blurry, imagine that! Ewww….. so I decided to stop using it since I had finished it.

So if you are considering about trying this product out, I’d say give it a shot, only if you do not have issues with managing an oily face like me. So bare in mind that, I probably couldn’t use this product due to the fact that I have quite an oily face. If you do not have the same problem as me, and your face is mostly normal to dry, you could try this product out. I am definite that you’d be able to see some results that other products aren’t quite capable of showing. Besides its actually not as costly as other products other there on the shelves.

My Suggestions – If you really want to try, but not sure about it, you could also consider using this product like a spa or treatment for your eyes once or twice a week, if you’re in the mood for some self-pampering, at your own free time. It will probably help leave you feeling refreshed after a week of late night and stress from work.
