Banana Bonkers

Staying in shape.

Here’s one of my major obsessions -Staying fit and in shape.

Can’t seem to stop being so obsess about when, what and how I eat anymore.

Ever since the day I woke up and told myself, “its time for me to wake up my blardy idea, got to do something about those excess fats on my hips and waist”, I’ve been active and religious about my workout regime and critically watching what and when I eat.

Always making sure I have proper food and the right proportion on my plate. More fibre, sufficient protein, less carboh (one scoop), and lots of water everyday – making sure I am well hydrated.

Whatever the quantity or amount of food on my dish, I will always make sure I’d leave something behind (mostly a big part of rice or noodles). I am use to people telling me, I waste food. Its not like I want to, but it has become inevitable. If the local stalls would even listen when I request for less carboh and offer to scoop in a little more dishes, I’d gladly whop up and clean my plate.

A strict and consistent work out regime is also just as important as watching my food intake. Constantly changing my routines and schedule for work out sessions, helps to keep me motivated and interested. I tend to get bored quite quickly and easily, therefore its important to switch around. Its usually advisable to workout 5 times a week, alternating between cardio work outs and weights training, and follow by resting on the weekend. However, its kinda hard to stick to such a plan unless you really have nothing going on, no friends or relative you’ve got to catch up with, no afterwork plans, etc. Perfect for a house wife like job?

Even I have problems no and then; whether to forgo my combat classes to catch up with a friend or even to go visit relatives. Its hard. It has become compulsory for me to work out at least once, if not twice a week. And if I don’t, I will feel extremely guilty and would push all other appointments away the following week just to make sure I get back on track before losing my groove.

Anyhoo, here’s a page for Me and anyone else out there who struggles and works hard to make themselves look and feel good to stay confident and beautiful (in our own way).

The plan is to constantly update and keep track of tips to help “US” stay fit and healthy at all times. Obviously, there is no fix plan or a short cut to losing weight, one should find ways to enjoy the process, if not avoid it. Since its going to be a a long and major process throughout the rest of our life – which ever stage in life you are starting from – we might as well take pride in it and enjoy the fruits of our labour!
